Verbatim SD and SDHC cards are compatible with all applicable SD standards fully compatible and can be used in devices that carry the SD or SDHC logo. They also have a write protection function to prevent accidental deletion.
Performance classes:
Performance classes are used as official unit for measuring speed of SD cards and are defined by the SD Association. The unit is equivalent to 8 Mbit / s and measuring the minimum write speeds based on the 'best fragmented state where no memory unit is occupied.'
Class 10: Guaranteed minimum data transfer rate of 80 Mbit / s (10 MBytes / s).
